Duns Fair Share
Duns Fair Share (DFS; SC053316) is a new and entirely voluntary organisation based at 15 Murray Street in the centre of town. Currently we are engaged in three major areas of activity.
Berwickshire Federation of Village Halls
The Berwickshire Federation of Village Halls is a not for profit organisation, supported by Scottish Borders Council and given day-to-day administration and assistance by Bavs.
Duns Community Nursery
Not for profit Community Nursery & Hub providing flexible childcare for children ages 0-5 years.
Borders Wheels
Berwickshire Wheels (previously a part of Bavs) joined Borders Wheels to create a Scottish Borders-wide community transport service. It continues to operate from Duns.
ParentSpace
ParentSpace offers parenting courses, workshops, drops ins and one to one support to parents. We cover Berwickshire and all of the Scottish Borders.
BHA BeFriend
BHA BeFriend provides one to one and group befriending services to people over 65 who live in Berwickshire and Kelso.
Families Outside
Families Outside is a national charity in Scotland working exclusively on behalf of families affected by imprisonment.
St Abbs Community Trust SCIO
To provide leisure, social interaction, educational and health improvement opportunities for the people of St Abbs.
La Leche League Berwickshire
We provide breastfeeding information and support locally and nationally though our internationally-accredited volunteer counsellors.
A Heart for Duns
A Heart for Duns provides a central hub to bring people together for business, social and community good, to grow, prosper and regenerate parts of our community.
DunsPlayFest
Annual week-long community festival of new dramatic writing featuring plays, readings, workshops, live music, hot food and convivial creativity.
Peer 2 Peer Mindfulness
We provide high quality, free mindfulness courses to the public across the Scottish Borders.
Chirnside Development Group
We are a group of volunteers who maintain and manage the Community Centre in Chirnside. The aim is to provide a safe and warm environment for people to meet.
Westruther Village Hall
We provide our community with a suitable space to do organised activities both indoors and outdoors. We have a large 180 max capacity hall, small meeting room, and playing field.
Duns Players
Ambitious and high-achieving local theatre troupe specialising in classics and new drama.
Ayton Heritage SCIO
The organisation’s purpose is to preserve the cultural heritage (both tangible and intangible) of Ayton and district.
Berwickshire Marine Reserve
The Berwickshire Marine Reserve (BMR) is a registered Scottish charity which was established in 1984. It seeks to conserve the Berwickshire coastline which spans the Scottish Borders region.
Preston Stitchers
Group meets 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month to quilt and sew. There is a private Facebook group.

Greener Duns works for the advancement or improvement of environmental protection.
