Warm Spaces in Community Venues

Communities across Berwickshire are responding to the cost-of-living crisis by opening community venues as warm hubs. Bavs is working with community groups to facilitate a joined-up approach. This page is a collection of resources to help you to set up and run your warm space.

    Our About Berwickshire project and Berwickshire Swap are collaborating on the Winter Woolies project, bringing warm clothing to venues across the region.

    About Berwickshire can also help set up a digital drop-in as part of a warm space.

    We are collaborating with Duns Foodbank to make a list of all the warm spaces available on their Berwickshire Help website.

    The Berwickshire Help website also has information on organisations working on crisis support in Berwickshire. This is particularly useful for groups setting up warm spaces for signposting and identifying partner organisations.
