The workshop will provide an overview of the law and regulations surrounding charity finances and trustee duties, and what that actually means in practice.

It will consider what financial records are, how they can be held, and the options for annual accounts and reporting, including the contents of the Trustees’ Annual Report.

There will be practical examples of financial controls and ways to consider financial sustainability of a charity and an introduction to charity specific accounting issues such as fund accounting and independent examination.
